Packed House: 250 Vehicles and 700 Attendees Cruise-In to GoPro Motorplex
Over 700 attendees enjoyed perusing our Victory Lap Cruise-In’s assortment of more than 250 classic and modern cars, trucks and motorcycles on display in our parking lot Tuesday night. The event marked the first of three free Cruise-In events this summer at GoPro Motorplex.
Attendees enjoyed live music by the band, Indefinite, delicious food truck vendors and raffle prizes. The Cruise-In special discount on rental kart racing kept the race track full of back-to-back races to the enjoyment of those in attendance.
In addition, Cruise-In attendees were able to cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award. Winning the crowd’s vote was the beautiful blue 2015 Dodge Viper, followed by a unique rail buggy in second place and a Detroit Speed-built 1969 Dodge Charger R/T in third. First place was awarded a brand new GoPro HERO4 action camera.
To conclude the evening, all Cruise-In vehicles paraded onto GoPro Motorplex’s 0.7-mile, 11-turn race track for a couple of laps. Attendees lined the fences to watch the parade of vehicles under the lights and sunset.
